Regina Glass Fibre based in Ballarat, Australia, is one of the remaining manufacturers of semi-continuous, nonwoven C-Glass veils / tissues using the Schuller Dry Process patented by Werner Schuller in May 1962.

Producing surface tissues / veils in this manner facilitates cost effective, short run production where fibre diameter, weight / thickness per unit area and binder chemistry are easily adapted to the customers unique needs. The chemically resistant tissue/veil wets out easily and is exceptionally drapable, conforming to the most complex shaped FRP/GRP moulds.

With more than 50 years as a trusted manufacturer of traditional surface veils, Regina Glass Fibre also supply black surface veils suitable for acoustic insulation applications, specialised veils suitable food contact applications as well as an impregnated veil branded as FireShield®, specifically designed to enhance the fire resistance of GRP/FRP laminates.
